Biggest June Box Office Ever

"Man of Steel," debuted to $125.1 million at the Father's Day box office to score the top opening of all time for June. That figure includes $12 million grossed Thursday night from special Walmart screenings, putting the actual three-day figure at $113.1 million. Coming in No. 2 "This Is the End" with a stellar five-day debut $32.8 million. Now You See Me at number 3 with 10.3 million, number 4 Fast And Furious with $9.4 mil and The Purge at number 5 with 8.2 million.

Bindi Irwin Victim Of A Death Hoax

Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi Irwin has become involved in a bizarre online death hoax.


According to E! Online, news that Irwin's daughter had died began trending on Twitter on Friday

The false reports were said to have been created by a glitch in internet search engines, which combined the release of Bindi Irwin's Return to Nim's Island with the news of her father's death in 2006, resulting in the trending phrase: "Steve Irwin's daughter dies."

Bindi has become involved with environmental work and projects with the Discovery Channel.

Two days prior to the death rumors, she tweeted a video of a trip she took to Hong Kong with her late father.

Jack Johnson To The Rescue At Bonnaroo

Jack Johnson and his band overcame tough odds and thorny logistics to headline the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on Saturday night, replacing late canceling Mumford & Sons. Johnson performed a set filled with good humor, mellow vibes and a ton of hits. "We want to dedicate this whole set to Ted Dwane and all of Mumford & Sons," Johnson said after taking the stage before tens of thousands of fans. "And we wish we could all be here playing music together. Maybe that will be next year." Mumford & Sons was forced to pull out of its much-anticipated headline slot on Thursday after bassist Dwane underwent surgery to treat a blood clot in his brain.
