Geez! Where did time go!? This Olympic Season flew by in hardly the bat of an eye. I stayed particularly close to the TV fpr the Closing Ceremonies...where the Spice Girls performed. This is all mainly opinion based but...ok, I was NEVER a huge Spice Girls fan...but it was really different seeing them all reunited after all these years have gone by, and they're so much older!! I personally didn't think they're performance was all that outstanding. From a visual perspective...it was great seing all the different effects they used!! From a listening perspective...they were a little off. Then again, the performance of 'Wonderwall' wasn't what I thought it would be either. I guess I am just so spoiled with hearing studio versions of these songs for so many years, then when you hear the real deal...it doesn't sound the same! It's also hard when groups break-up, or performers split off from groups, and they continue touring. Sometimes it becomes obvious to the avid fans that the group isn't what it once was without a certain component, and sometimes that component is irreplaceable. For other groups, it seems to work out really well with replacing certain members and it's almost a seemless transition!
I hope you don't have 'bee-phobia,' because this is really insane! Imagine moving into a house, only to find out months later it is infested with BEES! True story...it happened to a couple in Utah. Click here for the story!
