This guy...I'll tell ya...he takes the cake! He had about 15 thousand dollars of accrued parking tickets and he dwindled that down considerably! He had about 117 parking tickets...and 95 were dismissed!!! I know I could never get away with anything like that...but then again, you wouldn't catch me leaving my vehicle illegally parked after the first ticket!!! According to my calculations...on average, a ticket was 128 bucks. It's because he was illegally parked in handicapped spaces at his condo in L.A. I thought those were supposed to be more than 200 dollars?? Besides - after you accrue maybe 10, I'd think they'd tow the car.
The story has a little more than meets the eye though. Apparently the way he got out of the other tickets was by arguing that the spaces were originally allocated to his condo. That's a fair argument - but he still has 22 other offenses that aren't covered under that waiver!
I hope you don't have 'bee-phobia,' because this is really insane! Imagine moving into a house, only to find out months later it is infested with BEES! True story...it happened to a couple in Utah. Click here for the story!
